This is a two-year long programme with a multiple entry and exit points, the program shall permit students to enrol in it or graduate from it with either a Postgraduate Certificate in Research, a Postgraduate Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Research (PDGRH) or a Master of Science in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Research. The aim of the programme is to generate projects and graduates that can guide sexual and reproductive health and rights policies and programmes and inform evidence-based policy decision making as well as to improve health service delivery. The programme, thus, provides a non-clinical foundation in the main aspects of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights: adolescent health, family planning, maternal health, AIDS/STIs, sexual health and reproductive cancers. The program is targeted at individuals with background in a wide range of disciplines and professions such as health practitioners, policy makers, health system planners, SRHR advocates, program managers and researchers. The program adopts a multidisciplinary approach that integrates biomedical and social science perspectives and approaches for analysing, designing, implementing and evaluating Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights programs and policies locally and internationally.

Fees for the Programme
Successful applicants will be required to pay the Malawi Kwacha equivalent of USD3,300 for Malawian nationals and USD6,000 for SADC students payable in two instalments. International students from countries outside the SADC region will pay USD8,000 . Half of the fees must be paid during registration at the beginning of the first semester.
