This is a blended postgraduate degree program by coursework and research (3-4 years). This PhD programme prepares graduates that will assume major positions in academia and Non-Governmental Organisations, advanced midwifery practice and research settings to expand Midwifery theory and practice base; and serve the nation and beyond through evidence-based practice and policy. A blended teaching/learning methodology informs the delivery of the programme and the elements of delivery in this programme are: On-campus, face-face teaching sessions for 4 weeks at the beginning and another 4 weeks at the end of each 18 week semester. Fees for the Programme
Successful applicants will be required to pay MWK4,730,640 for Malawian nationals and USD6,525 for SADC students payable in two instalments. International students from countries outside the SADC region will pay USD10,244 . Half of the fees must be paid during registration at the beginning of the first semester.
