This is a blended postgraduate degree program by coursework and research (3-4 years). This PhD programme prepares graduates that will assume major positions in academia and Non-Governmental Organisations, advanced midwifery practice and research settings to expand Midwifery theory and practice base; and serve the nation and beyond through evidence-based practice and policy. A blended teaching/learning methodology informs the delivery of the programme and the elements of delivery in this programme are: On-campus, face-face teaching sessions for 4 weeks at the beginning and another 4 weeks at the end of each 18 week semester. Individual student learning using Module-based curriculum management system Periodic internet-based or video conferencing seminars

Fees for the Programme
Successful applicants will be required to pay MWK 4,730,640 for Malawian nationals and $6,525 for SADC students payable in two instalments. International students from countries outside the SADC region will pay $10,244 . Half of the fees must be paid during registration at the beginning of the first semester.
