The Master of Medicine in Haematology program by enrolling MBBS holders or equivalent and taking them through a 4 year Clinical and laboratory Haematology training program. MMed in Haematology program will directly address the gross paucity of Haematology expertise in Malawi by nurturing haematologists competent to diagnose and manage haematological diseases with adequate skill and decision-making ability in the field of Haematology. The graduated haematologist will be an expert in their field through the provision of a high quality clinical and pathology services with a patient safety centered approach, and will have a professional and collaborative attitude and be an effective communicator. MMed programmes, learner will be expected to complete the defined course, undertake both formative and summative assessments comprising continuous assessment, MMed Part 1 and Part 2 examinations and complete a research dissertation.

Fees for the Programme
Successful applicants will be required to pay the Malawi Kwacha equivalent of USD3,300 for Malawian nationals and USD6,000 for SADC students payable in two instalments. International students from countries outside the SADC region will pay USD8,000 . Half of the fees must be paid during registration at the beginning of the first semester.
