The MMed Anatomical Pathology programme is to provide high quality postgraduate training in anatomical pathology, producing anatomical pathologists with a broad range of competencies in all aspects of the field of anatomical pathology, applying a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to practice of pathology to improve patient care and outcomes and playing an active and pivotal role in the medical community. The MMed Anatomical Pathology training will enrol MBBS holders or equivalent, who will go through a 4-year training programme, and equip them with exceptional skills and competency to support their development as diagnosticians, researchers, and educators. Students will be required to complete the defined course and pass all defined assessment modalities which include; MMed Part 1, Part 2 examinations, and a research dissertation

Fees for the Programme
Successful applicants will be required to pay the Malawi Kwacha equivalent of USD3,300 for Malawian nationals and USD6,000 for SADC students payable in two instalments. International students from countries outside the SADC region will pay USD8,000 . Half of the fees must be paid during registration at the beginning of the first semester.
