Overview
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Malawi School Certificate of Education or its equivalent with six (6) credits including English, Biology, Physical Science/General Science/Chemistry and Physics and Mathematics.
2. Registered nurse midwife with a University Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery or those with Diploma in Nursing plus University Certificate in Midwifery (UCM).
3. Applicants with a University Diploma in Nursing will be enrolled in the University Certificate in Midwifery programme before commencing the Bachelor of Science in Neonatal Nursing programme. (The scholarship will only cover applicants who will proceed to the Bachelor of Science in Neonatal Nursing Programme)
4. Must be registered with Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi (Attach proof)
5. Two years’ experience working as a midwife in a maternity unit; those working in neonatal nursery will have an added advantage. 6. Those with Nursing and Midwifery Technician Diploma level are not eligible for entry into this program.
7. Letter of good standing from Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi Applicants should submit:
∙ A completed application form available at

∙ Certified copies of academic and professional certificates. (Copies of the above documents must be duly certified as true copies of the
originals by a recognized Commissioner of Oaths i.e. District Commissioner/Lawyer/Issuing Institution)
∙ A letter of recommendation from a supervisor or District Health Office (for those already employed).
